1953 Coronation Pocket Knife (7928)
A fabulous pocket knife commemorating the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II in 1953.
The pocket knife has a picture of the Queen on the front and 'To commemorate visit of H.M. Queen Elizabeth II And H.R.H. Duke of Edinburgh' on its back face. It has two blades of equal length. It is in great condition for its age!
The blades extend fully and stay firmly in position. Blade length 40mm. The makers's mark can be seen at the base of each blade: 'Richards, Sheffield, England'.
I love the warm colours and the gold detail in the picture on the front.
The pocket knife measures 60mm folded and 140mm with both blades extended.
A great piece of coronation memorabilia!
