2 x Italian Carved Savonarola Chairs (9189)
These traditional "Savonarola" chairs were carved in Italy back during the 1930's.
The design is named after the fiery Renaissance monk (Girolamo Savonarola, 1452-1498) from Florence, Italy.
The original finishes are very well preserved.
Solid beech hardwood; the frame is strong and tight.
The thick saddle hide seats are original, and in good condition.
They measure 610mm wide x 545mm deep x 400mm high (to top of seats) x 790mm high (to top of back rests).
