RARE! Early model 1930's? | AUTOCRAT Portable Car Radio (11069)
Autocrat PCR 54,designed to run both in a car (12 volt) and in the home when plugged into the mains via the big male plug on the side which is for an electric iron plug (from the days when irons had their own plug and cord). It is N.Z. made from 1955. The lined designs on its front plate along with the AUTOCRAT font, looks very Art Deco. There is a speaker on both sides.
Obviously not in working order - but would look great as a display piece for the radio enthusiast - or in your Man Shed!
