This antique Coin came with a handwritten letter that was written years ago; date unknown.

The letter reads:

"Found in the Thames mud about 40 years ago! Is it George 4 penny piece? which was often called a Cartwheel. The raised edge thus could have been filled off to enable the user to spend it as some earlier date of currency. Pure guesswork based on checking coinage books at the library. N.B. You never polish these old coins."

Condition: very worn - unable to see date etc. Wonderful story!
