Iwatsu Hineri Glass Petal Vase (7257)
The Portuguese introduced glassblowing to Japanese craftsmen in the 18th century. During the mid 20th century Japanese art glass was highly influenced by the Italian makers from Murano. This generously scaled art glass is a superb example of the refined pieces produced by Japanese maker Iwatsu Hineri.
With its ribboned brown, and white colours, it's the perfect addition to add a touch of mid century glamour into your home!
This piece still has its sticker although the ink has faded from it. Using a jewellers loop, I was able to correctly identify it.
In excellent condition. Measures approximately 220mm high and 180mm diameter.
