Stunning unframed, antique etching, signed by Scottish Artist: Henry Jackson Simpson (1893-1963).

Henry Jackson Simpson was a prolific Aberdeen artist who painted and etched seascapes, cathedrals, still life, animals and landscapes - and studies of the River Dee in all its moods.

It is an original etching - and is in good condition for its age.

Even though there are possibly more than one etching, each is considered an original work of art because it is not a copy of anything else. Some of the most celebrated artists that worked in this medium are Rembrandt, Whistler and Picasso.

It measures 265mm wide x 400mm tall.
