GRANT TILLY! Pen & Ink | Waterfront House, Paihia (12227)

  • $35.00

This is a wonderful pen and ink drawing, by Wellington Artist Grant Tilly.

Grant Tilly was a New Zealand stage, movie and television actor, set designer, teacher and artist. During the 1970s and 1980s Grant worked as an illustrator for David McGill's articles in The Evening Post - "Cityscapes" and later "Harbourscapes" and then on his own column "Drawing On History".

It comes in a black frame, with anti-glare glass front. There are some marks underneath the glass (we don't think it is on the paper itself).

A grand old Villa, which may still be standing in Paihia, Bay of Islands, today!

It measures 410mm w x 15mm d x 30mm h. It has a handmade card made by Grant, attached to its back. See photos.
