This chrome-coloured Premier 'PYLON' electric kettle dates from the 1940s. It has a socket for a plug in lead at the back and a swan-neck spout at the front. 
The grip on the handle, which stands over the top if the lid, is made from compression moulded phenol formaldehyde. 
The base of the kettle has engraved information and three small black feet.
Engraved: "Premier PYLON British made mark AUTOMATIC ELECTRIC KETTLE MADE IN ENGLAND CAT No. 2737" (base)
In great condition for age and would make a great collectors piece.
We have not tested as we believe it should be checked.
