Berthier Beauregard Folk Art Wood Carved Table Lamp 1930s - What fantastic piece, a-lot of work in this, made in Quebec. Signed Berthier B. Light weight wood.

Please Note- Lamp will not have a power lead!!   We have photographed the lamp working so you can see how lovely it is, however, due to the old wiring and the metal plug for the light, we have cut the cord- its to unsafe for sale or use.  The lead will need replacing so might the bulb Plug. we will leave 40cms of length so someone can attach the new wire and pull it through the tree to get it to the top. Otherwise it is in lovely condition.

Measurements Base is 280mm L x 150mm W the total hight is 360mm H with the shade on.

Berthier Beauregard. Sculptor/Woodcarver. Saint-jean-Port-Joli, Quebec. Berthier Beauregard made wood carvings in the flat-plane tradition of saint-Jean-Port-Joli, Quebec. He learned carving in the studio of Gerard Fortin and later took over his studio.   His subject range was wide; he carved people, birds and animals. His work was signed with a chisel.
